Michel Morin (March 27th 1948 with Saint-Célestin -) is a politician Québécois and is old the Député pequist of the district of Nicolet-Yamaska. It occupied, at the time of the 37e legislature of Quebec the station of whip as a chief of the Official opposition.

Biography

Holder of a baccalaureat in history with the University of Quebec with Three-Rivers (1973), it supplemented a control in the same discipline with the Université of Sherbrooke in 1975. He followed his occupation in the curricular area until in 1994 with the Collège Notre-Dame of the Assumption.

Until worms the end of the Years 1980, it militated for the Parti progressist-conservative of Canada where it occupied some stations of which that of assistant-executive of the deputy Louis Plamondon, today appointed for the Québécois Bloc. Political life

Michel Morin was elected for the first time at the National Assembly of Quebec to the election of 1994 in the district of Nicolet-Yamaska where it has demolishes by 907 votes, the liberal deputy outgoing Maurice Richard. Morin occupied this station until in 2007. He was re-elected with the elections 1998 and of 2003.

During its three mandates, it in particular occupied the stations of assistant member of Parliament to Public safety (1999 with 2001) and of whip as a chief of the government of 2001 with 2003. It preserved this role, but in the opposition, following demolishing it Parti Québécois in 2003.

It was not represented with the elections of 2007.
