Merry sermon

the merry Sermon is a parody of sermon. In the beginning, with the Festival of Insane the, one pronounced in the pulpit of the church a parody of sermon. Insane once driven out church, the kind remained and developed. Its essential characters are: a text crowned in Latin, quotations generally of the Bible, a moral conclusion, and a formula of blessing. He was of use to begin any representation of Miracle or Mystère with a sermon. There remains to us about thirty merry Sermons , among which:

  • Holy Grape

  • Holy Herring
  • Holy Ham
