Melodrama (cinema)

At the 19th century, the melodrama was a theatrical Genre dramatic popular characterized by incredible situations where characters Manicheans clashed. Shortly after its birth, the cinema took again this theatrical technique to produce films made up of a series of violent oscillations between the moments of happiness and the moments of distress presented with the constant threat that the worst ends up triumphing.
