Meaux-the-mountain

Meaux-the-Mountain is a common French, located in the department of the the Rhone and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Geography

Meaux-the-mountain is located at 60 km of Lyon, 40 km of Villefranche-sur-Saône, between the communes of Thizy, Amplepuis and Echarmeaux. The culminating point of the village is the Rock of the fairies 861 M, the inhabitants of Meaux-the-Mountain name the " Meldois" or " Montagnards". The branches of industry are agriculture, tourism and the seedbeds of Christmas trees.
