XIXe century

1863 . Spain: Inauguration of the section Miranda - Haro of the railroad of Tudela to Bilbao (Compañía del Ferrocarril de Tudela has Bilbao)
1878. France: adoption of the Law creating the Company of the state railways (or State network), consisted of 2600 km of various lines of secondary companies.

XXe century

1990 . France: the oar the SNCF n° 325 of Atlantic TGV establishes the world speed records on rail to 515,3 km/h on LGV Atlantique (Paris - Tours) close to Vendôme, at the end of a series of tests.

1993 : Inauguration of the line TGV Paris - Lille.

XXIe century

2006 . France: the president Jacques Chirac visited installations of the Gare Montparnasse with Paris intended to do this one a “pilot” station in the improvement of the access to the rail-bound transports with the handicapped people.
