  • 1990 . France: the oar the SNCF n° 325 of Atlantic TGV establishes the world speed records on rail to 515,3 km/h on LGV Atlantique (Paris - Tours) close to Vendôme, at the end of a series of tests.

XXIe century

  • 2006 . France: the president Jacques Chirac visited installations of the Gare Montparnasse with Paris intended to do this one a “pilot” station in the improvement of the access to the rail-bound transports with the handicapped people.
