Mattin Treku
Mattin Treku Inhargue born on November 11th, 1916 with Ahetze (Labourd) and deceased on July 22nd, 1981 in the same commune, was a famous Bertsulari northern Basque Country.

Mattin Treku was born with Ahetze on November 11th, 1916. It remained all its life as a farmer there. It Maria with Olandegi Husband of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle on August 9th, 1947, and had a son. He died in Ahetze on July 22nd, 1981
Biography
The first of its public improvisations goes back to 1933 during the festivals of Sare. In 1948 it gains the championship of Urrugne. In 1952 it gains the championship of Sare. As from 1960, and until its death, it takes part in all the organized championships with Saint-Sebastien (Spain) (Donostia - Basque Country southern), making team with Xalbador Aire. In 1972 it gains the price of best the Bertsulari of the year.
