Marthe (Bible)

Marthe is, according to the New Testament, a woman Disciple of Jesus-Christ. She is the sister of Lazare and Marie de Béthanie.

She attends the Résurrection of her Lazare brother.

According to the Tradition of Provence, it was established after the death of Christ in Provence with Lazare and Marie, and overcame the Tarasque with Tarascon, where in its honor Collegial Royal was high, on the site of its tomb, where the faithful ones come to request in great number.
