Martín Torrijos
Martín Erasto Torrijos Espino (born the July 18th 1963 with Panamá) is a Panamanian politician. He was elected president the May 2nd 2004. He had gained 47% of the voices and had beaten his three rivals.
Torrijos is the son of Omar Torrijos, which was Chef of the Government of the Republic of Panama between the years 1968 and 1978, after an internal purging of the National guard which deposited and sent to Miami (Florida) the chief of the army Boris Martínez, true inspirer of the military rebellion which had deposited the president Arnulfo Arias Madrid.
