honourable the Marlene Jennings , LL.B (November 10th 1951 -) is a political woman Canadian. She is the liberal Député E of Our-Lady-of-Grace-Lachine since 1997.

Lawyer, it was high-civil servant in the Canadian government. Marlene Jennings served as parliamentary Secrétaire for the ministry for the international cooperation.

It was parliamentary secretary for the Solicitor General of Canada. In 2004 and 2005, it was parliamentary secretary for the Prime Minister of Canada, specializing on the canado-American questions.

Marlene Jennings is the first Québécois woman black with being elected with the House of Commons of Canada in all the history of the Canadian Confédération.
