Margaret Curtis (October 8th 1883 - December 24th 1965) is a golfeuse and American player of Tennis of the beginning of the 20th century.

Biography
Born close from Manchester-by-tea-Sea (Massachusetts) to a father Colonel in the Cavalry to the Armed with the Union, Margaret Curtis is the junior by a family of ten children.Very early, it is initiated with the golf with her sister Harriot; both integrate quickly the Women' S Golf Association off Massachusetts , the first association of female golf created in the United States (in 1900).
In 1897, at thirteen years and as of its first participation, Margaret Curtis finishes fourth of the United States Women' S Amateur Golf Championship . After several years of forced rest, for health reasons, it takes down the title in 1907 vis-a-vis her sister finally, performance which it republishes in 1911 and 1912.
Champion with the golf, it was also a highly skilled tennis player, gaining the US Women' S National Championship into double ladies at the sides of Evelyn Sears in 1908.
After studies of social worker to Boston, it goes to Paris during the First World War and engages with the Croix-Rouge: during three years, it directs there the office of the Réfugié S.
In 1958, it is seen giving the Bob Jones Award , higher distinction granted by the United States Golf Association .
Margaret Curtis died in 1965, at the eighty two years age.
