Marcel van Eeden

Marcel van Eeden ($the Hague, 1965) is a draftsman Dutch, whose work is composed primarily of series of small drawings in black and white.

He studied of 1989 to 1993 with the Royal Academy of the Art schools ( Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten ) of $the Hague. Its works were distinguished with the Biennale from Berlin in 2006, by obtaining the Prix of Rome in 2004 and the price of the Art schools of the Dutch daily newspaper Volksrant 2006.

Fascinated by the images of war and the sights night, number of its work take again old postcards or sights.
