Marceau Somerlinck
Marceau Somerlinck is a Football or French, born the January 4th 1922 with Lille - Mills and deceased the November 9th 2005. (Its name badly was always spelled wrongly with two M and Y… cf hall sports Marceau Somerlinck to Ronchin). He played 359 matches under the colors of LOSC, which constitutes a record for the club.
Biography
The course of Marceau Somerlinck is indissociable history of the LOSC, whose it contributed to write the most beautiful pages. In 1935, it signs a professional contract in the club inhabitant of Lille of the SC Fives, with which it reaches the final of the cut of France in 1941. Constrained by the mode of Vichy to play then in the federal team Lille-Flandres, it integrates into the release the Lille Olympique Sporting Club, formation resulting from fusion between the SC Fives and the Olympique Inhabitant of Lille. Under the colors of LOSC, from 1945 to 1957, Somerlinck goes to forge an exceptional prize list, gaining by twice the Championnat of France, but especially while being essential on five resumptions in Coupe de France, a record which always holds and which was not equalized since by Dominique Bathenay and Alain Roche (which has with the difference of Somerlinck gained their five victories under several shirts).
