Method of artisanal manufacture of Paper recycled

Material

  • Two basins;
  • a Mixeur;
  • Of the Paper newspaper;
  • Of the sheets of fabric;
  • a Salad bowl;
  • a Sieve and a framework;
  • Four Board S.

Stages of manufacture

  1. To tear the newspaper in small squares, from approximately 2 or 3 cm on side. To put in the salad bowl filled with water (tepid preferably).
  2. To let soak the small pieces and mix them carefully to obtain a Paste liquid.
  3. To transfer the paste in a basin and to plunge there the sieve covered with the framework out of wooden.
  4. To let drain the sieve, on which the paste settled.
  5. the second basin is intended to receive the sheets so that they dry. Y to put a board initially, then a folded newspaper, and finally a wet fabric sheet. Then, there to deposit the paper pulp.
  6. To start again the operation in this vat, with a fabric sheet between each layer of paper pulp.
  7. To then put a board above the “package”.
  8. To put the whole between two other boards and to press the whole.
  9. To withdraw the boards, then with precaution, each sheet of fabric.
  10. To let dry the sheets of paper during approximately 24 hours.
