Maki Tsukada

Maki Tsukada (born the January 5th 1982 with Shimotsuma in the Prefecture of Ibaraki, Japan -) is a Judo kate Japan ease illustrating itself in the category of the heavy trucks (+78 kg). Olympic champion in title of the category, it is also world champion in 2007 after having failed three recoveries over the world second or third place.

Biography

The Japanese appears in the juniors categories by gaining the world title in 2000 with Nabeul (Tunisia). She finally highlights for the first time at the level senior at the time of the Mondiaux of Osaka of 2003 by obtaining the money medal only beaten by Chinese the Fuming Sun. Powerful at the time of the tournaments precedent the Olympic event, it is selected for the Jeux of Athens in 2004. At the time of the competition, it leaves victorious its semi-final against the Russian Tea Donguzashvili before repeating at the time of the finale against Cuban the Daima Beltrán.
