Maizeroy

Maizeroy is a common French located in the department of the the Moselle.

Geography

History

The village of Chevillon was rataché with the commune.

The inhabitants of Maizeroy were called the “câgnards of Matihe-reu” meaning the “soft men of Maizeroy” and those of Chevillon “the pussies of guéyins” i.e. “the cheese eaters hard”.
