Main building
A main building is a term used structures about it to indicate the principal block of a Château, a Manoir or a Palais. It contains the most important parts, the rooms and an entry. The most elegant rooms in the building are often on the first floor (the Piano nobile ).
According to the style architectural, less imposing secondary wings can be on the side of the main building. When the unit contains a place bordered by 3 buildings, then the latter is called the Main courtyard.
The majority of the buildings of the traditional Time in Europe have a , main building (Château of Versailles Palais Pitti, etc) as well as the castles of the Middle Ages.
