MAN

A man is an individual of male Sexe and mankind, in opposition to the Femme (individual of female sex ). It has bodies different from those of the woman.

Biology and anatomy

The man is the male of the mankind and has a pair of sexual chromosomes XY, whereas the woman, female of the same human group, has a pair of sexual chromosomes XX. The men and the women normally have hormonal productions differentiated and the typical hormones of the man are the Androgène S among which the Testostérone for the reproduction of the Spermatozoïde S for the Fécondation (procreation of the human beings). The genital apparatuses differ notably, as for the other alive species. Secondary sexual differences appear after the Puberté, like the hair S (of number caused by the androgens) and the increase in the reproductive body.

Men and sport

Certain sporting disciplines, such as for example the athletics, the gymnastics or of many sports of balloons, are organized without co-education. In such disciplines, only the men are authorized to fall under the " category; hommes" of a competition and the inscription in this category prohibits the access to the " category to them; femmes". The reason for not-co-education is generally a difference in physical capacities, weak in the daily newspaper but crucial with high level. These categories can also exist with an aim of encouraging the participation of the sex less represented (for example with the failures).

The disciplines which do not hold to the men any particular category, and thus where the performance of each one is compared without distinction " man/femme" , are very few; the horse-race, the automobile race and the sail belong to this last type of discipline. The majority of the sporting disciplines are practiced at the same time by men and by women but they are organized without co-education and the current rule consists in exclusively comparing the performances of the men between them. In the majority of the mixed competitions, such as the marathon, where the men and the women are together, the organizers apply this rule of comparison between men on a side and women of another.

In the professional sport, the wages and the premiums of the men are generally higher has those of the women, the male sport being diffused more in the media and thus generating more incomes. Football and cycling are striking examples. The sports were historically practiced exclusively by men; women not being authorized to practice this type of activity. Although this tendency tends to change, the men practice still more sports that the women and this, in the majority of the contemporary cultures.
