Lunéa coral

Corail Lunéa indicates the new night service of interior trains Corail, launched recently by the SNCF. There still exists nevertheless of rare Corail trains of night not lunéa (for example Paris-Royan or Paris-Hendaye or extra trains of snow)

This service, which made it possible to revitalize a certain number of night trains promised with the extinction, suffers however certain weaknesses (not homogeneity of the park in particular for the reinforcement in peak period, disappearance of the offer Voitures-lits at the end of 2007, this material having been sold of occasion, absence of Voiture-restaurant or Voiture-bar on board) and thus does not reach the level of comparable quality of its foreign counterparts (Tren-Hotel Elipsos or new the " City-Night-Lines" German) French design of the railway development privileging from now on high speed by trains of day.

The Corail Lunéa proposes:

  • Berths 1st class: four broad berths. The new formula " Space privatif" allows to all alone reserve the whole compartment for oneself, or two or three people.
  • Berths 2nd class: six berths.
In the two classes, there exist compartments for ladies and, in 2nd class, of the compartments for families.
  • tilting Seats: this economic formula is offered only on certain services.
Finally drink vending machines and delicacies, a corner-relaxation and a nursery are at the disposal of the whole of the travellers.
