Luigi Francescato
Luigi Francescato , more known like Nello Francescato , is a former player of Rugby to XV, born the January 28th 1952 with Sardana (Italy).
He played for the team of Italy, he is three quarter centers.
He honoured his first international cape the November 26th 1972 with Aoste with the team with Italy for a victory 13-12 against the Yugoslavia.
Luigi Francescato resulted from an extraordinary family players of Rugby. Three of his/her brothers also played for the team of Italy whereas the two others also played more high level in club.
Rino and Bruno did everything their beginning at Azzurri in the years 1970. Rino had 38 capes and Bruno seven, while Luca, and Manuel, played Rugby in series A. Ivan made its beginnings at Azzurri in 1990.
Luigi Francescato counts 42 international capes, it was 4 times captain of Azzuri and it honoured its last international cape the December 19th 1982 with Casablanca for a victory 13-3 against the Morocco.
