Louise Drevet

Louise Drevet (1836 - 1898) born Marie Louise Chaffanel, is a novelist from the Dauphine.

She draws her inspiration in the regional history, writing many historical novels and of adventure and transcribing tales of oral tradition. She also writes under the pseudonym of Léo Ferry . She is called the Walter Scott from the Dauphine. She marries Xavier Drevet, editor, and founds with him the literary review Dauphine the in which she writes many articles.

The review Dauphine the will be taken again by the Posters of Grenoble and Dauphine the with died of Xavier Drevet, six years after that of his wife.
