Louis of Poitiers (bishop of Metz)
Louis of Poitiers (- 1327) was bishop of Fish ponds, of Langres and of Metz.
He is the son of Aymar IV of Poitiers, count de Valentinois and of Diois, and Hippolyte of Burgundy.
From 1306 to 1318 it is bishop of Fish ponds.
It is then named bishop of Langres. Canons having refused the access of their church to his prosecutor who came to take possession of it, it would have made some insert the doors. June 17th, 1322 he is condemned to a fine of 26 000 pounds by the Parliament.
April 3rd, 1324, it is transferred to éveché from Metz where it makes its solemn entry the 1er February 1325
