Louis X of Hesse-Darmstadt or Louis Ier of Hesse-Darmstadt , (in German Ludwig Ier von Hessen-Darmstadt), born the June 14th 1753 with Prenzlau, dead the April 6th 1830 with Darmstadt.

It was Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt of 1790 with 1808, large-duke of Hesse is á the Rhine of 1806 with 1830.

Louis Ier of Hesse-Darmstadt was landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt of 1790 with 1806 under the name of Louis X of Hesse-Darmstadt . The August 14th 1806, it adheres to the Confédération of the Rhine and became large-duke of Hesse-Darmstadt.

Louis Ier of Hesse-Darmstadt belonged to the branch of Hesse-Darmstadt, this second branch belongs to the first branch of the Maison of Hesse itself resulting from the first branch of the House of the Brabant.
