Louis III of Palatinat

Louis III , Count Palatine of the Rhine (in German Ludwig III. der Ältere or der Bärtige ) (January 23rd 1378 - December 30th 1436, Heidelberg), was a Elector Palatine of the Rhine, House of Wittelsbach, in 1410 - 1436.

Louis III is the son of king Rupert of Germany and his Elisabeth wife of Nuremberg. He is member of the Société of the parakeet.

With died of king Rupert, the kingdom is divided between its four sons.

First marriage: Louis III marries in 1402 White of England (Ca 1382; † 31. May 1409).

Second marriage: Louis III marries in 1417 Mathilde of Savoy (*1390; † 1438).
