List members of the parliamentary Council

This page draws up a list of the members of the parliamentary Conseil , the body charged to write the Fundamental law of the Federal Republic of Germany of September 1948 in May 1949. It included/understood 65 members with right to vote accounting for the eleven Länder of the Western zones of occupation, to which 5 representatives without right to vote for West Berlin were added. Six members having resigned and one being deceased during the mandate of the Council, 77 people on the whole sat there taking into account the replacements.
