List consuls of the Roman Republic

In the Antiquity, one called this list of the Consul S the consular Fastes .

The Roman République extends from 509 with 31 av. J. - C.

NB : this end of the Republic is only one rebuilding historical. Indeed, the Republic abolished forever in Rome. The Princeps, as from the moment when it did not have any more any rival (and thus starting from 31 av. J. - C.) cumulated the magistratures cum imperio what instituted in fact a monarchical system.
