Line Paris-Saint-Lazare - Ermont-Eaubonne

Ermont - Saint-Lazare is an old rail link of Parisian suburbs which was the subject of very important work.

Presentation of the service road

The new rail link Ermont-Eaubonne/Paris Saint-Lazare 15 km is long and is open since the August 27th 2006.

It connects the Gare Saint-Lazare to the Gare of Ermont-Eaubonne by serving eight stations; this part of the Saint-Lazare network is also called Groupe IV.

The ways are ensured by BB 17000 which tractor draw and push (reversibility) VB2N or bank account numbers 70. The time of way is from 24 to 28 minutes and all the trains of this rail link serve all the stations of the course.

Thanks to this new connection, one can go from Ermont-Eaubonne to the Saint-Lazare Station without changing train.

The new service road was accompanied by the removal of the Argenteuil branch of the RER, in order to double the frequency on Montigny - Beauchamp. The new service road comprises only slow trains (starting from Asnières-sur-Seine) and not of the semi-direct trains Paris - Argenteuil - Ermont - Eaubonne as much claimed it.

Replacing

The users of the line bound for the stations of Sannois and of Argenteuil must change train with Ermont-Eaubonne since this connection replaces the branch of the RER C which served the stations between Ermont-Eaubonne and Argenteuil.

Since August 27th, 2006, the trains of the line the RER which were Argenteuil terminus are terminus Montigny - Beauchamp.

Only the trains of this new connection serve the stations of the Stage, of Colombes, Wood-Doves and of Asnières-sur-Seine, the other trains of the group J being direct is of Conflans, Cormeilles or Argenteuil to Paris except:

  1. the trains KORA terminus Cormeilles (departure Gare Saint-Lazare 23:34, 00:02 and 00:32) which serve all the stations starting from Asnières-sur-Seine until Cormeilles-in-Parisis. The stations of Ermont and Sannois are not stopped at.

  • to create two underground works (between the stations of the Stage and Argenteuil on the one hand, between the stations of Ermont-Eaubonne and Cernay on the other hand) to remove the crossings on level of trains;
  • to be created with Ermont-Eaubonne a multimode pole enters the lines, and bus, while removing the connection of the railways coming from Argenteuil towards the suburbs of the station of North, and by creating two flyover making it possible to flux the traffic of the suburban lines northern.

The startup of the multimode pole is planned for 2009.
