Line 39 of the tram of Brussels

The line 39 of the tram of Brussels connects the subway station Montgomery (Woluwe-Saint-Pierre) to the terminus of Round of applause Eik to Wezembeek-Oppem.

  • line 39 is a regional line which connects is of Brussels with the periphery is of Brussels (Kraainem and Wezembeek-Oppem). The terminus with Montgomery makes it possible to make half-turn with an underground strap. Between Mongomery and the stop Madoux, the line separates in a line which goes towards Tervuren and another towards Stockel.

  • These two lines are called “Express train” by the STIB because the trams being in clean way can go at the same speed as if they were sousterraines (Prémétro)
