Lilongwe is the capital of the Malawi. It is located at the western south of the country, the west of the Rivière Malawi close to the border between Malawi, the Mozambique and the Zambia. Its geographical coordinates are. Its population is approximately 440.500 inhabitants (2003).
The old capital, Blantyre, are today still the most populated city of Malawi, like its economic capital. The country includes/understands three principal ethnos groups, of which yaos and chewas. The two official languages are the chichewa and English.
