Leon Riotor

Leon Riotor (July 8th 1865 with Lyon - 1946 with Paris) was a French literary man and politician.

Biography

Wire of Nicolas Célestin Riotor and Ferdinande Isoline Fisher, Leon Riotor has two brothers, François Riotor, born towards 1860 and Alfred Riotor, born on March 26th, 1871.

He was married in Julie Stockeman and did not have a descent.

He became vice-president of the Municipal council of Paris and the General advice of the Seine. He published several poems, the eel Fisherman (1894); Poems and Récits of war (1918); Spicilège (1928); the Hand of glory (1929).

Novelist, he is sometimes satirist with the Reasons of Pascalin (1894), the spots of ink (1929), sometimes psychologist in the unknown Friend (1895); the Mother of the Hero (1905), traveller also with the News Austria (1927); Locarno and the islands Borromées (1929); the Horizon (1929).

Lastly, art critic, one owes him Auguste Rodin ; J-B Carpeaux (1906); Arts and Lettres' (1901, 1903, and 1906); the Town hall (1928).

It was made Commandeur of the Legion of honor and collaborated in many newspapers.
