Leon Hennique
Leon Hennique , born with Low-Ground (Guadeloupe) the November 4th 1851 and died in Paris the December 25th 1935, is a French novelist naturalist and dramatic author.
He studies painting but devotes himself after the Guerre of 1870 to the literature. Friend of Emile Zola, it is detached some at the time from the Affaire Dreyfus.
Executor and joint legatee with Alphonse Daudet of Edmond de Goncourt, it dealt actively with the foundation of the Académie Goncourt, of which it assumed the presidency of 1907 to 1912.
It contributed, with the Business from large the 7 , with the Soirées of Médan (1880).
