Leo Labine

Leo Labine was a player of Canadian Hockey , born the July 22nd 1931 Haileybury (Ontario) and dead the February 25th 2005.

Career

Leo Labine played twelve seasons in the National league of hockey (LNH) for the Bruins of Boston (1951 - 1961) and the Red Wings de Détroit (1961 - 1962). It cumulated 643 matches in the LNH including 128 goals for 321 points. It cumulated 730 minutes of penalty. The November 28th 1954, it registered a turn of the hat and two decisive master keys during a third mêmet.

Labine disputed three finale of Coupe Stanley with Bruins of Boston but was inclined each time vis-a-vis the Canadian of Montreal.

The history will remember that at the time of the finale of the cut of Stanley, the April 8th 1952, it struck Maurice Richard by behind severely. After its career in LNH, it carries the colors of the Blades of Los Angeles (1962 - 1967) in the Western Hockey League .

It gained the Coupe Memorial in 1951 whereas it evolved/moved with the Flyers de Barrie.
