Laurent Frapat

Laurent Frapat is a Monteur and Réalisateur of Documentaire S animalists. It coréalise the series of documentary Chronicles of the wild Earth .

Career

After three years of studies to ESRA, Laurent Frapat becomes Cadreur then Monteur. In 1992, it realizes with Guillaume Lévis Routine , a Short-measuring on the epic of the daily life which obtains a recognition in the festivals and from television channels.

In 1994, it starts a series on the animals of Kenya: Chronic of wild Africa . Laurent Frapat assembles then his own films and works on the music with the lyric tone of Carolin Petit. Produced and written by Frederic Lepage, this series whose texts are said by Pierre Arditi in French and John Hurt in English, will be diffused in a hundred country.

Helping success, Laurent Frapat and Frederic Lepage then attack the cycle the Chronicles of the wild Earth . They produce and carry out Chroniques of wild Amazonia , Chroniques of wild Asia and Chroniques of wild America .

Other series are born: the blue Odyssey told by Tchéky Karyo, Genesis II told by Lambert Wilson, the Great Raid of the gnous .

In 2005, Laurent Frapat meets Alexandre Hallier who proposes the realization of a documentary series to him on the Bébé S. Petits of man observes five babies of the birth at the two years age to the manner of a documentary animalist. Hugues the Bars composes the music, Frederic Lepage writes the comment, Isabelle Carré says it.
