Landunvez

Landunvez ( Breton Landunvez in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France.

Landunvez comes from lann (hermitage into Breton) and from holy Tunvez: the hermitage dedicated to holy Tunvez ( alias Tumette, one of the 11  000 virgins, partners of holy Ursule, martyrized in Cologne into 383).

  • the vault of Saint-Gonvel-the-Dunes (Saint-Gonvel-year-Teven) or holy Guenaël (16th century), located at Argenton.
  • the vault Holy-Anne, bénite on July 14th, 1957.
  • the cross of Trémazan (17th century);
  • the martyrdom of the church of Landunvez (20th century);
  • the cross of Bédiez (16th century), close to the Saint-Gonvel fountain.
  • the Holy-Haude fountain or Holy-Aude;
  • the guardroom of Trémazan (- 18th century);
  • the manor of Troménec (17th century);
  • the mill of Kersaint (18th century), restored at the 19th century.
