Landevieille
Landevieille is a common French, located in the department of the the Vendée and the area Pays of the Loire.
Geography
Located in the west of the department, to approximately 31 km by Road S of the Roche-sur-Yon halfway between Challans and the Sands of Olonne; to 12 km of the chief town of canton and to approximately 5 km of the Atlantic Ocean.
The village of Landevieille is close to that of Chaize-Giraud.

Landevieille obtained 2 flowers () with the Concours of the cities and flowered villages (prize list 2007).

Demography
The equipment installed by the commune and in particular by the centres of population allowed an important renewal of the population.
Economy
Landevieille preserves a dynamic Agriculture (950 ha of SAU) but it turned resolutely, to the Artisanat, the trade and tourist lodging.
The principal trade are represented: mini-market, baker's and confectioner's shop, garage service station, hairstyle as well as the craft industry related to the building.
One also finds a post office there, a kynésithérapeute. A school gathers with its six classes the children of LANDEVIEILLE and CHAIZE GIRAUD.
Associations are very present and manage various services of general interest (the sport, the library-game library, transport and the school restoration, animation…)
An artisanal zone is under development and will accommodate soon some local companies concerned to reorganize.
