Lakshmi
In the Hindouisme, Lakshmi is the goddess of the beauty, the light, health and good fortune. It is the girl of wise Bhrigu and the faithful wife/magnetizes/excessively pious woman of Vishnu, also called Srî.
She took refuge in the milk sea when the Gods had exiled it. She reappears at the time of the Barattage of the milk sea.
It is a bienfaitrice. Gold and the jewels are its symbols. It is incarnated on ground, following Vishnou under the features of Sîtâ in the Rāmāyana and of Draupadi in the Mahâbhârata.
It is represented with four hands indicating of the spiritual virtues. Gold coins run out of the one of them while she blesses the faithful ones.
It is not armed. Crowned, it wears a red sari and sat on a lotus. It is surrounded by two white elephants, symbols of chance.
She itself is venerated by many gods, of which Ganesh.
The star of Lakshmi (Ashthalakshmi) is composed of two superimposed squares with 45°
