Lake of Rennes
the lake of Rennes is a lake of the center of the Canada located at the border of the provinces of the Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The name of the lake probably comes from a translation of a word algonquin. It is the second plus big lake of the Saskatchewan and the ninth of the Canada. Many small islands there are found. In the east the municipality of Kinoosao is, in north the municipality of Pike (Manitoba) and in the south that of Southend (Saskatchewan). Water of the lake runs out mainly towards the south by the river of Rennes and a dam, flowing then in the river Churchill then towards the east in the Hudson Bay.
In the south of the lake the deep bay is . This circular bay 13 km in diameter would be the vestige of an impact of meteorite approximately 100 million years ago. Fishing and tourism are important for the area. Clear and deep water of the lake makes of them a paradise for the fishermen with the line.
