Since 1842, the old abbey shelters the Mairie Lagny-sur-Marne.

One can read still there an inscription which dates from the Revolution, carried out in 1793 at the time of the festival of “the Unit and the Indivisibility of the Republic”: “Indivisible Unit of the Republic Freedom Equality Fraternity or Death”.
Current the Town hall is installed in the buildings of the abbey. As of the entry one arrives in the galleries of the cloister which surround the interior garden. The large staircase leads to the first stage, towards the living rooms of honor. The walls of the gallery of the first stage accommodate many fabrics of the painters of Lagny-sur-Marne and its area, of which Alphonse Lint, died in 1900, attached to the School of Barbizon and the impressionist . Certain tables were bought by the baron de Rothschild and were offered to the town of Lagny-sur-Marne.
