Léry octave
Toulouse the Octave Léry , born the November 25th 1885, was the first President of the French federation of Rugby, of 1920 with 1930, named whereas he was the President of the Committee of the Pyrenees, and that he exerted the trade of veterinary surgeon in the pink city.
He was before second line with the Stade Toulousain (1 m 81 per 75 kg), vice-champion of France in 1909 with this team. and he also arbitrated the first finale of the championship after the First World War, in 1920 between the Stadoceste tarbais and the Racing club of France.
He died the May 10th 1938. An avenue of Toulouse bears its name.
