Kotorosl

The Rivière Kotorosl (in Russian Ко́торосль) is a River of Russia and a Affluent of Right Bank of the the Volga. Kotorosl sprinkles the Oblast de Iaroslavl. It runs out since the lake Nero, close to Rostov, and is thrown in the Volga with Iaroslavl. Kotorosl is long of 132  km and its Bassin pouring drain a surface of 5  500  km ².

With the the Middle Ages, this river had a great strategic importance, because it connected Rostov to the principal water ways of Russia. The principal affluent of Kotorosl is the Oustia river.
