Kazuko Hiyama

Kazuko Hiyama is a Pianiste and pianofortist Japanese born in 1977 with Osaka, resident in Paris.

Biography

Its formation

Kazuko Hiyama was born in 1977 in Osaka in Japan, girl of the professional pianist Hisako Hiyama. She quickly reveals great provisions for the music and has the Absolute pitch. She begins the piano as of the four years age with her mother. Then at twelve years, it becomes the pupil of Nobuyosi Kato to his diploma of the College Higher Toho-Gakuen in 1996.

In 1995, it leaves Japan and settles in Paris where it enters to the Higher Academy of Paris (CNR) the class of Olivier Gardon. It obtains there its 1st price unanimously in 1997. Then it connects the most prestigious formations then:

In 1992, at the fifteen years age, she interprets the Concerto for piano n° 2 of Chopin with New City Philharmony of Tokyo.

Since 2001, it belongs to the Prospects Unit that it created with musicians of the CNSM of Paris.

During season 2003/2004, she plays the Concerto for piano n° 1 of Tchaïkovski with the Orchestra of the CNSM of Lyon under the direction of Peter Csaba, as well as the Triple Concerto of Beethoven with the National orchestra of Lyon under the direction of Ludovic Morlot with the Auditorium of Lyon. She occurs at the side of eminent the Clarinettiste Paul Meyer.

During season 2004/2005, she plays the Opéra of Lyon, the Théâtre Mogador and Esplanade of Saint-Etienne with the Symphony orchestra of Saint-Etienne under the direction of Martin Lebel. She is also invited to the festival “Piano Passion” like with the festival “Musikalia”.

Since December 2005, it takes part like inputter in the spectacle “the intruder”, produced by Zig-Zag Creations under the direction of Jean-Marie Adrien, music electroacoustic directed by the contemporary dance.

Since it regularly gives concerts as soloist or chambrist in France or in Japan.

Lastly, she played for the emission “On all tons them” of France Musique the summer 2006 with Montpellier within the framework of the festival of France Musique.
