Kathleen Sebelius
Kathleen Sebelius (born the May 15th 1948) is a political woman American, governor democratic of the State of the Kansas since 2003.
Born the May 15th 1948 with Cincinnati in the Ohio, it is the girl of the governor of Ohio, John J. Gilligan.
Moved in Kansas in 1974, it also follows a political career while being made elect during 8 years with the room of the representatives local of Kansas.
In November 2002, it is elected 44e governor of Kansas by beating the republican Tim Shallenburger by 53 % of the votes against 45 %.
This exceptional victory of this democrat in one of the States on the right of the country results from divisions between conservatives and moderated within the Republican party.
In 2004, it is quoted among the possible candidates with the vice-presidency at the side of John Kerry.
She is married in Gary Sebelius, a federal judge and are parents of 2 boys.
Although she states not to be not interested by a national political career, she is quoted recently among the serious candidates with the democratic nomination for the presidential ones of 2008.
Sebelius is a partisane right to the Avortement and is adverse with the Capital punishment, designs very liberal and on the left which indicate with its post of governor of the State droitier of Kansas whose voters voted by plebiscite George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004.
