Karasburg

Karasburg is a locality of the south of the Namibia of almost 15.000 inhabitants, located in the area of Karas at more than 700 km of Windhoek and at 110 km of Ariamsvlei, the border with the South Africa. It is a rural region known for its breedings of sheep.

At 40 km in the south-west of Karasburg is located the thermal village of Warmbad, inhabited mainly by Bondelswarts, an ethnicity of language nama. This small village introduces former strong German and a national museum reporting the life of the community of Bondelswarts.
