The Kansas is a State of the center of the the United States. It is bordered in north by the Nebraska, in the east by the Missouri, in the south by the Oklahoma and in the west by the Colorado.

History

The name of the state comes from the Sioux Kansa (another name of the people Kaw) which means “People of the wind of the south”

Establishment of Kansas

Kansas was annexed by the the United States in 1803 as “a territory not organized” within the framework of the Louisiana purchase , the purchase of the Louisiana to the France by the United States. Kansas then became a portion of the territory of Missouri until in 1821. In 1854, a law establishes two new territories, that of Kansas and that of the Nebraska.

Air transport

Road transport

Kansas is crossed by two autouroutes principal:

I-70 (I for Interstate ) connects Saint Louis, in the Missouri, with Denver, in the Colorado. Of is in west, I-70 crosses Kansas City, Lawrence, Topeka, Manhattan, Junction City, Salina, Hays, and finally Colby.

Policy

Kansas is a preserving state traditionally dominated by the republican S.
