Kanouri
The Kanouri is the nilo-Chadian language of more than one million people divided between the provinces of the Kanem to the Chad, of the Bornou to the Nigeria, of Manga and the Mounio in the area of Diffa, Zinder and the oases of the Kawar (Bilma), in the east of the Niger et.dans some districts less important.
The word Chad comes besides from Kanouri and wants to say “great stretch of water”.
