Kanji era
The era Kanji (in Japanese: ja 寛治) is one of the eras of Japan (ja 年号, nengō , literally “the name of the year”) according to the Ōtoku and preceding the era Kahō extending from the 1087 to the 1094. The reigning emperors were Shirakawa - tennō (ja 白河天皇) and Horikawa - tennō (ja 堀河天皇).
