Kōfu
Kôfu (甲府市; Kōfu-shi) is the capital of the Préfecture of Yamanashi to the Japan.
In 2006, the city had a population of 201,184 inhabitants and an total surface area of 212.41 km ².
History
The city was founded on July 1st, 1889. Its name means (" capital of the Kai" province;).
