It was born the October 18th 1801 in Talar de Arroyo Largo in province from Between Ríos. He was assassinated in Palacio San Jose with Concepción LED Uruguay in province of Between Ríos, the April 11th 1870. Soldier of profession, he was President of the Nation of the March 5th 1854 with the March 5th 1860. He belonged to the federalistic party called Partido Federal .
Its predecessor was the governor of Buenos Aires, Juan Manuel of Rosas, representing the foreign relations of the Plain Provinces of Río of Plata. He had like successor Santiago Derqui.
