  • 1389 : The Serbia is overcome by the Othoman S at the time of the Bataille of Kosovo Polje and loses its independence. This event took place actually on June 15th, day of Saint-Guy or " Vidovan ". But it is commemorated by Serb the Julien on June 15th which falls, with, on June 28th of the Gregorian calendar.

16th century

  • 1519 : Charles V is elected emperor of the Saint Germanic Roman Empire.

17th century

  • 1629 : Louis XIII sign the Peace of Ales

  • 1668 : Creation of the royal Academy of Music to Paris.

  • 1914 : François-Ferdinand de Habsbourg, archduke of Austria, and his wife Sophia are assassinated by a nationalist Serb, event release of the First World War (see Assassinat of Sarajevo).

  • 1940 : Winston Churchill, British Prime Minister recognizes the Général de Gaulle as the “ chief of the French who continue the war ”.

  • 1958 : France beats Germany at the time of the Football world cup to Gothenburg, (Sweden) on the score of 6-3, thus finishing 3rd tournament.

  • 1969: First night of riots of Stonewall, series of conflicts violent one between on the one hand the homosexual ones and transgenres, and on the other hand the police force of New York.
