1814 . the United Kingdom: George Stephenson brings into service his first Locomotive for a mine of Houille.

XXe century

1980 . Netherlands: two trains enter in collision on a Single track between Groningen and Roodeschool, resulting in the death of 9 people.
1995 . France: with Paris, an attack with the bends in an oar of the RER B at the station Saint-Michel makes 8 dead and more than sixty wounded. This attack is allotted to Algerian GIA.
