It is because it dealt with the fan-club of the Yardbirds that their manager of then Giorgio Gomelsky dealt with the beginning of the career of Julie Driscoll (born the June 8th 1947 with London). As of 1965/66, she sang in Steampacket, with Length John Baldry, Rod Stewart, and Brian Auger. It is with this organist that it was going to train a more reduced team as from 1967. Their popularity off gained France in 1968 with excellent recoveries like Season the Witch (of Donovan), This Wheel' S one Fire (of Bob Dylan), or the famous Save Me of Aretha Franklin. The voice drunk person was of a rare power in a white singer, and the great charm of " Jools" , more the undulations of its body and its fingers, added to fascination!

Under its new name of Julie Tippett (S), it still records an ultimate album of songs Sunset Glow in 1975, but takes part especially in projects raising more of the improvisation, like Spontaneous Music Ensemble, Centipede of K. Tippett, Ovary Lodge, Voice and the Ark. … It also takes part in the " Tropic Appetites" of Carla Bley, with the " Royal theater Drury Lane" of Robert Wyatt and with many projects and workshops less known.
